It has no bearing on the next round though; just bragging rights.
The Evaluation Portion:
The personal evaluation of the blogs will determine the final listing. I wanted this contest to contain an aspect that very few do; judging quality on the same criteria for all. Here’s how it goes:
1. The veracity of the content of the blog; including use of multimedia
2. The creativeness and uniqueness of the perspective or twist on the information provided
3. How well written the content is
4. The diversity of content
5. The balance of informative versus entertainment or engagement value
6. The readability of the text area
7. The presentation via the layout
The Final list will be announced in about a week

Deidra, I’m glad that the process resulted in the list of finalist being both diverse and substinative.
Yobachi - each and everyone of these blogs is deserving and are certainly reflective of the diversity among the Afrosphere. Can’t wait to see the final list!
