Chris Henry Dead At 26

Chris Henry succumbed to his injuries after falling out of the back of a pickup truck yesterday, and died this morning at 6:36 am.

A statement from his agent Andy Simms reads:

“It is with great sadness to learn Chris has passed away. For those who knew Chris, he was nothing like his public perception. A loving and caring individual, he was thankful for what he had in life, and proud of what he had overcome.”

The accident that led to Henry’s death happened in the course of a dispute with his fiance Loleini Tonga, which has not been detailed by police.

It’s reported that as she pulled off from her Charlotte NC home during an argument, Henry jumped in the back of the pickup. About a mile down the road he was ejected sustaining head injuries that have now taken his life.

The couple already have three kids together.

As reported here on BlackPerspective.net last night, the CBS affiliate in Charlotte is confirming that homocide dectitives are investigating this case.
