CNN Video Of Cop Arresting Reporter

April 23rd, 2009

Here’s another example of why those who think Blacks just make up police abuse and it’s not their problem. The more police get away with jack-booted thug behavior and feel a sense of invincibility from repercussions, the more they feel entitled to treat everyone as a subjects whom they may deal with in any manner they so please.

First its the people who are the dredges of society, and those living on the margins of life; and then it seeps out a little more and more.

That cop is an out of control thug; and violated the constitution up and down!

There was no crime for the reports to be arrested for at all whatsoever. Talking back to an ego maniac who has a badge is not a crime. Neither is walking without enthusiasm when told to move; especially when one has a constitutional right to cover a story and even to observe the police in their official duties so long as they’re not in the way.

A cop not liking the press covering a story does not = interference. Responding to a cop, instead hitting the ceiling when told to jump like a dutiful child, does not = interference.

Here is the report at the news desk later that day:

There are folks saying that the cop was completely in the right because he was trying to clear the side walk and the reporter was told to move previously. This ridiculous explination completely fails to pass the smell test.

The cop wanted to clear; yet then when he was leaving the cop ran from behind him when he was almost at his truck and stopped him from leaving?

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense if his concern was clearing the area. Cleary that was not his concern as he kept it from being cleared by accosting the reporter instead of letting him leave like he was doing. The cop was more concerned about his bruised ego because he thinks people should have to bow and shuffle to him when he speaks just because he wears a badge. The cop only cared that this man dare respond to him, rather than take his “orders” quitely.

This is pure foolishness. You’re right, people do think we make this type of stuff up. If only every Black person had a camera they might think twice about the stuff that they do.

    Nice blog you have going.

    Check me out sometime.

Sad to say, but we need more footage and examples of cops violating white folks rights before something like police brutality can be taken seriously.

White folks know about this but yes we need more footage. I respect peace officers I just want to say that first, but When I was at a beach in CA I seen cops called on a bunch of woman who were trying to protect a baby seal on the shore from getting ran over by cars (a beach where big trucks are allowed to do OHV)where Rangers were hitting it with brooms and sticks trying to get the baby seal to move you could tell it was sick and the woman were saying please just call wildlife control, instead they called the cops who made them leave or be arrested. The baby seal was ran over and died.(Protect and serve who?)
