Jindal says:
“We [Republicans] stand for universal access to affordable healthcare coverage; what we oppose is universal government run health care”.
SINCE WHEN? Universal access to affordable healthcare is what Obama’s been proposing since throughout the campaign, along with many other people for years; and all the way through the election Republicans to a T, including McCain, have roundly rejected such ideas.
There response has been that the market will magically just fix it at long last; and we’ll give you some tax rebates after you pay for it out of pocket.
