This will be a new series at BlackPerspective.net. Beauty in our country and in world culture is most often measured through the lens of white men; here we’ll take a Black perspective on beauty. Beauty comes in many forms, and we will highlight some various different types of beauties.
We had to take Ms. Union to task late last year for taking sweeping shots at the entire Black blogosphere; but we forgive, cause she just melts your heart with that smile.
The 35 year old film actress from Omaha, Nebraska has built a solid if not stellar careet; becoming a favorite first lady in Black film.
She’s also become a favorite of the fashion blogs and the men’s mags. I mean, look:

She ’s most recently starred in Meet Dave opposite Eddie Murphy; and had a 3 episode stint at the end of last years Ugly Betty.
Right now Ms. Union is teaming up with on screen partner LL Cool J and other celebrities to promote literacy.

The gorgeous 5 foot 71/2 inch model turned actress is currently single after her 2006 divorce from Chris Howard; and unattached as far as I know, but often rumored to be dating (or something) other male stars.

I congratulate her for accomplishments. If the roomers are true about she and Dwayne Wade, she had no business having a relationship with him while he was still married. If that’s the case, I have NO respect for home wreckers. She should remember, what goes around, comes around!
I don’t know anything about her and Wade, I don’t keep up with that stuff. She been rumored to be with just about everybody from what I can gleem.
I agree though, in the words of Jenifer Anistan, homewrecking is “uncool” - lol. Do people in their 40s really talk like that?
