Discussing the Diaspora as seen through an internal Black lens

Not only did he call his wife a cunt (we know things get said between couples, but to say something so demeaning in front of other people); but he also think that if a woman gets rapped, she should feel “marvelous”.
He must really have an active disdain for women.
Next he’ll follow behind Coach Bobby Knight and suggest that as long as they’re getting rapped, they might as well just lay back and “enjoy it”.

McCain’s rape joke:
“Did you hear the one about the woman who is attacked on the street by a gorilla, beaten senseless, raped repeatedly and left to die? When she finally regains consciousness and tries to speak, her doctor leans over to hear her sigh contently and to feebly ask, ‘Where is that marvelous ape?”
OH oh oh, sooo funny - not!
The Seminal writes about Why John McCain’s Rape Joke Matters; in part point out that “The purpose of jokes like these is to minimize the physical and mental impacts of sexual assault by implying that some women enjoy being raped. The attitude behind it (blame the victim / it isn’t so bad) makes it harder for victims to receive adequate care and treatment, and it makes it harder for advocates to enact meaningful legislative and sentencing reforms.”
Again, John McCain doesn’t have the temperment to be president; not to mention the human descency and good sense.
The longer I’m exposed to this guy over the years, the scarier a figure he becomes. And this is from someone who would have enthusiastically voted for him 8 year ago had he won the republican primary.
At the time that campaign started I’d only known McCain for a year or so and it was at the start of the media’s made up maverick tripe. It just show how people’s true colors shine through over time as opposed to the front that they can fool you with in a short span of time.
