Help Defeat the Return of Racist Dog Chapman!

As reported a couple of weeks ago, Dog The Bounty Hunter is coming back to A&E this summer.
Do you remember Dog’s extremely racist and derogatory rant caught on tape last fall (here’s the short version of the recording if you don’t recall). We’ll, A&E quickly pulled his show for damage control, and as I predicted at the time; it was simply a ploy to let the dust settle, pretend like they did something, and then bring him back.
Well, that’s what they’re doing this summer, despite that Dog never owned up to what he actually said, but instead went on t.v. and lied about it despite us having the tape (as detailed here), and hence has made no real amends for what he won’t even acknowledge he did: that he and his crew of convicted criminals regularly used the word “nigger” with derogatory intent. He has not admitted that when his son began to date a Black woman, Dog verbally savaged her simply for being Black and for no other reason.
We in the Afrosphere Action Coalition do not believe that Black folks should stand for this type of derogatory behavior, and that they and others of like conscious certainly shouldn’t have our money support companies who support this demeaning behavior towards Blacks in the popular culture.
Therefore, we’re inviting you to participate in a concerted campaign to derail Dogs ability to profiteer off our consumer dollar while harboring such vile feelings and intent towards us. Further, we want to continue to establish dignity for Blacks as paramount in the market place.
This is not a one shot action. It will be a sustained action that continues what Bloggers previously accomplished in successfully challenging BET on it’s Hot Ghetto Mess; and we will be active in challenging media and corporate America on its respect of all citizens going forward.
Here’s the plan for this immediate specific action. Will You Join? Comment and let us know.
Current Plan:
A letter to A&E and its advertisers will go out this week.
B. This will be followed next Wednesday (June 18th) with a the Day of Blogging for Racial Justice In Media to incite our readers to support the position of the letter, and to ask our readers to take action to contact the A&E Network and it’s advertisers.
You need not be a blogger to participate, you can also do this through email to your contact list/address box.
Also, there will be a press release to the media that goes out the night before.
C. Depending on response from A&E and it’s advertisers, a next action will be announced.

Is the Day of Blogging for Racial Justice in Media on the 11th or the 18th? Do you have a list of the sponsors? Do you have the contact information for the show’s producers and/or A & E? I can’t believe they’re talking about bringing this guy back. He totally should remain buried. He was an embarrassment even BEFORE he made his rabid racism so public. Enough already! I’m in.
Also, I added your blog to my blog roll. I should have done it some time ago, but I’ve been off my feed for a while now. Anyway, it’s done now.
Changeseeker, it will be Wednesday the 18th.
I have some of the sponsors; but we have not been able to identify many. Really it’s not certain which of the old sponsors are sponsoring hims steal. And I don’t know of any new ones. If you have some ability to assist and finding that out, then great.
I have A&E’s public relations contact info; but if you have contact info for some specific people relating to the show, please pass it along.
I think the worst thing is that this guy gets to engage in what’s basically law enforcement with his derogatory attitudes against people based on their skin color. That’s what’s most frieghtening. I’m glad that convicted murder can’t carry a gun.
I’m in. I created a feature on my blog called “Moron Island.” I needed a place to strand folks for bad behavior. Dog was the first person to get launched to the island… so I guess you can say it was created for him.
I was a huge fan of the show, because I love justice. I was deeply disappointed that “justice” doesn’t include “racial equity” to Mr. Justice himself.
I’ll mark the 18th on my calendar and post about the issue today.

This man is a travesty of immense proportions. While hiding behind his supposed Christianity he spreads this vial crap in circles around him. He is not an example of what American justice should ever be. He’s the worst sort of racist, because he actually has power over others and uses it demean people. This show should never be renewed!

I don’t agree that the Don Imus situation was nearly futile; I do however think rolling over and taking crap; and allowing it to continue in the public square unabated is.
This and the Imus affair are only futile if one thinks the defemation of the Black race in the public square as accepted fare and it going without challenge is good for Black people; or at least is somehow irrelevant.
Dog never did wrong by leaving Tucker that message. He explained himself pretty clear in his message. All you black people want is something sue someone over because you think the world owes you something because your ancestors were “slaves”. We better hope to God that Obama doesn’t make it in office cause I’m sure some white supremist won’t let him last long. He’ll be assasinated quicker than any other president was. He only has the black “americans” voting for him because he’s black.
Leave Dog alone and get on with your life. If you have time to “TRY” to keep Dog off tv, then you have too much freakin’ time on your hands. Get a life, better yet, get a REAL job.
I cannot understand why A&E feels that he provides quality program time period. But since they are going to try to slip him back into the line up~I’m in.
Dog has more SUPPORTERS than non supporters so that’s why they are bringing him back and he had the highest ratings than any other show on A&E.
msladydeborah, they don’t feel anything but their pockets getting lighter, and that’s all they care about. That’s why economic pressure is our tool.
Dog was their network’s number 1 rated show; that’s why I knew from day one they would bring it back once they felt the dust had cleared.

You just talking about it is working,you’re getting responses already. There’s a racist blog called “Death by a 1000 papercuts” that helped him out last time with Sean Klannity.they’re not shy about their racism.If you go back on their blog they had a graphic from a “black” person of a 40 OZ bottle with dogs face that said Nigger O’s, the breakfast of Niggers.They said the graphic was OK because they had a white partner.BTW, go to one of my old postings and get his son’s photo in Nazi wear, later.
I’ve been all over the internet of late, Yobachi, and completely forgot about this. Thanks for the reminder so I would get over here and get the information. I definitely want to Blog Against Dog on the 18th and I’ll post something today to encourage others to participate. I don’t have any information about this situation, the sponsors, A & E or anything, so I’ll be checking in here to learn as we go along. Thanks again for the reminder.

I am of mixed race and I say forgive and forget about it already. The National Enquier didn’t even release the entire 8 minute tape. The world is nor filled full of perfect people. Ask Whoopie Goldberg some of the expletives that she has said in the heat of anger or in personal conversations that she didn’t really mean. Are you people so perfect that you’ve never said something such as Redneck,Fag, Cracker, Jew, Spic, Beaner or called a black brother the N word. Has anyone read Dog Chapman’s book or bothered to get to know the Chapman family. Duane Chapman is half Native American Indian and he moved to Hawaii to get away from predjudice. Duane Chapman never murdered anyone. He was 18 years old and he did not know that his friend was going to kill his other friend for his dope. Stay off drugs. Stay in school. Get a real job and contribute to society. Rap music degrades women and blacks. That is the biggest sickness in our country!

Who wants to band together and jack his ass and his crew on one of his dumb ass shows and then sell them into white slavery in china. Now that would be a fun show to watch him crying like a bitch. The dog’s show is the worst wast of time.

As much as I’m disturbed by the person that is Dog the Bounty Hunter; I’m not going to wish people into slaver, especially not racially based slavery.
But I hope his show falls flat soon, and that he loses his bounty hunter license; because that guy shouldn’t be a quasi law enforcement agent.
