Discussing the Diaspora as seen through an internal Black lens
April 19th, 2008
She makes this accusation with no offering of evidence mind you; not even anecdotal. At best this is Hillary making double talk excuses to her donors in private to justify why they should give her losing campaign more money, at worst this is a political hit job against a large swath of American voters that she needs in order to have the slightest chance to win in the general election.
This while noting that their beef with her is driven by policy difference over foreign policy, i.e. the Iraq war. And, with the fact that MoveOn.org was created to defend Bill Clinton against impeachment, originally know as Censure and Move On; as in, instead of impeaching, just censure him and move on.

Hillary really is acting like a rabid dog, attacking Democratic Party friend and foe alike.
I think Clinton always expected that people who were opposed to the Iraq War would make trouble for her, but she never expected that we would effectively form an alliance between the white anti-war left and the Black anti-war, civil rights left. That’s actually what the “system” has been fearing since Martin Luther King, Jr. was trying to put such a coalition together.]
Ultimately, Clinton couldn’t dismiss BOTH the white leftist anti-war people AND Black people and still have a chance to win the nomination. Someday, she’ll look back on this and realize that this should have been obvious to her much earlier on.
Yeah Francis, that sounds about right. That beyond Vietnam stuff and poor people’s movement is why they killed MLK; they didn’t care so much about the civil rights stuff.
Hillary made a political calculation in ‘03 that she needed to appear uber patriotic and strong on defense for when she ran for president, so she was going to vote for the war no matter what. Once things turned sour, she thought she could effectively triangulate and inoculated herself by harsh criticism of how Bush conducted the war; but her years of parroting Bush and Cheney’s propaganda about the war even long after it was clear that the whole thing was bullshit, doomed her with those who are really anti-war/anti-aggression.
Pathetic.
She was pathetic.
This is typical Hillary. When things don’t go her way, people and organizations
are wrong; states don’t count, etc. She is pathetic. If she is willing to be this
dishonest in the primaries, how in the world can the American people expect her
to keep any promises if she is elected? I know that each candidate wants to win,
however, I have a problem with a candidate whom would do anything to get there.
Hillary has proven that she will do anything to reach the White House. This contest
is really getting sickening. I am not sure of others, but I have had it with these
primaries, I am ready for them to be over. Then we have the cowardly super delegates
whom will not publicly announce whom they support, which in turn keeps this nonsense
going. Everyone wants to back a winner, but someone has to lose. This contest has
caused so much division in the Democratic party, that I will not be surprised if
we witness a McCain presidency, if they do not put a stop to this. I am truly
counting on our young people to put an end to this hypocrisy. I hope that all of
those who can, register and vote. We cannot take four more years of Bush politics,
nor can we take any more years of the old Democratic process. We truely need new
blood.
Barbara, if you’re not with Hillary then your her enemy; there’s no middle ground. Like Samantha Powers rightfully said, “she’s a monster, she’ll do anything to win”.
We really do have to register and turn out 30 and under voters to stop her and then Mccain.
