Jena 6 Victim Justin Barker

This is the line we keep getting from the ‘status quo of racism’ defenders.
Sure, he’s the purist, most innocent kid that ever lived. He’s such a good kid he got expelled from school 5 months after the fight for brining a gun to school. Now he’s a high school dropout as I understand it.
Their should be some recompense for the butt kicking that was delivered to Mr. Barker, but some recompense does not = anything goes.

I see that some are staying true to their pick and choose kind of reporting of the facts. I’m sorry but if everyone is equally subjected to punishment and rules of law then cool but if not then all bets are off. So what of the boys who beat the black kid at the party then? I say that one slap on the wrist deserves another!
Femigog, the Jim Crow defenders don’t acknowledge that the reason for the disparity is blatant racism, and said same racism created a hostile pressure cooker environment for the boys, mitigating (not excusing) their culpability, in the situation.
Hell, they’re so in favor of the ‘racial disparity status quo’ they won’t even admit that if there were no mitigating circumstances and the boys had just beat him up to take his lunch money, that 15 to 22 years is still outrageous for a whooping mild enough that Justin Barker could go out and kick it that same night. Almost died my ass!
I’ve seen people get their ass tore out the frame at school. I’ve seen many people jumped, I’ve been attacked before; and nobody goes to jail for 15 to 22 years. Very few child rapist go to jail that long. Even many murders get much less time than that.
They served their time – let them free!
Barker is noooooo victim. And Mychal has already paid for whipping his butt.
10 months in an adult prison is no small penalty to pay for a fight.

I am also saddened by the lack of media portrayal of the violent incidents that led up to this one. It is always stated that noses were hung, some racial things happened, and then Baker was beaten. People really have to dig to get the facts in this case which makes NO sense to me.
What should be published is the names of the three white boys who hung the nooses
from the trees. Why protect their names when they committed a hate crime. Also publish
the names of the white boys who jumped the african american kid at the party. Stop
protecting these white boys names and publish them. Make it known to the public that
they are racist and the ones responsible for the events that led up to Justin Barker
taking a butt-wooping. PUBLISH THEIR NAMES!!!!
Better than publish their names, prosecute them.
The black community is not living in terror as many would have us believe. The Jena 6 is a fine example. Beating the hell out of a white kid, including stomping on his head while he was unconscious, is not the act of terrified people. Just because Barker was tough enough to get up and go to school does not mean he wasn’t severely beaten. Far worse could’ve happened if the Jena 6 weren’t pulled off him.
