Jena Six Effort Fueled by the Net

I came across this article on how net activism is driving the Jena Six movement. It talks about how it is net-based media outlets spreading awareness while traditional media barely covers the story, and about the online petition drive.
I don’t think the amount of signatories were mentioned in this article, but a couple of weeks ago, 45,000 signatures were delivered to the District Attorney’s office in Jena, primarily garnished from the internet.
The New Jena Six Strategy to flood the media is still on, and I’ll have new details on where that stands and where it’s going, in the coming days
Also, Michael Baisden has been hitting it pretty hard on his radio show the last few days. Unfortunately he doesn’t have any info on his site, not even an icon with a link to Jena Six info. Maybe I’ll drop a line and suggest it, I’m sure it was just an oversight.
This Jena Six Movement is being pushed from the bottom up, but it’s increasingly growing and getting attention on bigger and bigger platforms.
Let’s keep up the work y’all!
