    I like the inclusion of contact numbers and websites to the Lakeesha Alert!

    It is a good idea and I’m down with working on it too. I write a lot about children and this is a subject that I will gladly support.

    I agree that anything that can be done to draw attention to missing black people should be done. The media and law enforcement seem intent on ignoring this issue. If we don’t raise the alarm no one will.

    It is rather unfortunate that this is so necessary. We tend to get a disproportionate amount of press for degenerate behavior and far less (if any) for the important things.

    This is a great section. Very inspiring. We should all have a post that a Lakeesha Alert button links to, and include the widget and updates.
    I want to do this as I clean up the sidebar at UU, to make it more user-friendly for information retrieval.
