Latest On Student Attacked by Guard Over Cake: Pleajhia Mervin

Pleajhia Mervin is the 15 year old high school girl who was beat up by a school security guard basically because she wouldn’t scrub floor for cake crumbs.

After breaking her wrist, law enforcement decided to add insult to injury by charging her with littering and assault.

Here’s a little bit more elaborate Video of the thug handcuffing her than I’d seen before.

There is a dearth of new information on this story. Very few articles to be found anywhere, even on Jena…I mean, Palmdale California television station and newspaper sites; after October 1.

Apparently ol Al agrees with me that this is akin to the Jena 6 situation.

The school district’s website claims that:
With dignity and respect for all, the Palmdale School District will empower every child with essential skills and knowledge, inspire lifelong learning and develop responsible citizens who are fair, trustworthy, responsible, and respectful.

Dignity and respect - ha. Assaulting kids instead of writing them up is really dignified and respectful. They still have not fired the hooligan who not only attacked Pleajhia; but then jumped on another male student for daring to record his assault.

Still no explanation from the school, the school district or police, 3 weeks later on why these students were attacked, arrested or expelled. Maybe they’re having a hard time putting together their cover up.

    Very little to be found on this case that is for sure. There is one newer post from the ninth where the guard proclaims his innocence, but it their appears to be not much out there at this point in time.

    I’m becoming more and more angered by what the mainstream national press almost wholly refuse to cover.

    There’s not even anything on the web about the report regarding the police roit at the immigration march in May, from the national media.

    I guess they’re too busy digging up the next salacious Senator Craig story, or devoting more full hours to talking OJs antics.

    There is new info, info you choose not to post. A channel 7 news reporter spoke, with her mother’s permission to the doctor. The doctor stated her wrist is not broken and there are no injuries. This malicious attempt at claiming racism, hurts others’ claims who actually are victim to such.

    Heather, no I didn’t choose not to post it you disingenuous pin head. This post was up a day or two before that Channel 7 report came out, which I just saw this morning.

    I’ve spent most of the day moving, and will post on the new development some time over the weekend. I didn’t post about this interview until about two days after it came out either, even though I knew about it almost right away. I’ll get to it when I get to it, I’m not a human news feed, and this is not a one issue blog.
