NAACP protests school construction on MLK Day

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Members of the NAACP and Baptist Ministers Conference held a protest Monday at the site of a Cincinnati Public School construction project.
They were upset that construction was going on at the site despite the fact that Monday was Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
“This is disrespectful to the African American community. It’s disrespectful to the city,” said Doc Foster, minister at Unity Baptist Church. “This is a national holiday…”

Really? This is what the NAACP is putting it’s latest time and effort into
They could have gone and fed some hungry people with that time and effort, like King extolled; or raised money and organized a blood drive for Haiti with the organizing energy they put into this.
But no, instead they’re worried about what day construction is on, as if it actually matters or effects black folks lives in any way shape or form.
Good job again NAACP.
