I have read that each year more homicides are committed by black on blacks then all the lynchings during Jim Crow. What has happened to Our family?    I want to offer my deepest sorrow for the family of Ms. Norman. This was a young talented life wasted. I agree with OG in that we as a Black community must be watchful in our interactions with one another.

   All of us as humans are sadly taking life much too much for granted. We certainly do not have the right to take the life of another and as Black people, we should especially be mindful when thinking about hurting each other.

   I have two sons and I know I cannot imagine the pain that I am sure Ms. Norman’s family is going through at this time. My prayers are with them. We all need to exercise restraint when we are angry. Violence in relationships does nothing but destroy. I am truely sorry.

   I went to school with both Natasha and Stanley. I’m currently in Iraq and I first heard about the story yesterday. I was worried and today found out that she’s been found dead. I never thought her end would be like this. I really don’t know what to say. I’m sad and shocked by this. I hope her family is making it. She was one of the nicest people you could meet. Never had a problem with anybody. Always positive and never had anything negative to say to or about anybody.

   Nonetheless, now Latasha can sleep the peaceful sleep of death, and be subject to the fouls of this world.
