Niggers Are Less Than Dogs In 2007

September 18th, 2007

–Michael Vick, Megan Williams, Jena 6–

This guy Mike Vick tortured dogs - he gets federal charges, the outrage of the nation, and people want him burned at the stake!

These guys
white rapist white rapist2 white rapist 3
tortured a black woman, escape federal charges, and are barely the subject of any media coverage.

This city Jena Louisiana is prosecuting black teens on outrageous charges for a racially provoked school yard fight, and trying to put them in jail for decades; and again, barely on the radar until bloggers and the grass roots forced the media to at least pay attention. And many white people are still calling the charges justified.

And what has the Justice Department done about racial based civil rights abuses? They’ve held warm, fluffy, we-are-the-world, public meetings. Thanks Alberto, enjoy your move back to Texas.

It’s clearly open season on Niggers, folks.

I wrote a few blogs about Vick. See I could not understand the outrage (about the dogs) while as you point out, we allow abuses to continue toward human beings. People of conscious feelings, dreams and ambitions get less than “man’s best friend.”

People mistakely think I don’t like an animal if I place a higher regard on a person. Just I know the difference, they don’t.

I also saw the hypocrisy when we continue to use horses, and dogs, for sport in horse racing and dog racing. Those animals are not always treated fairly — you just don’t hear about it.

Mike was a high-profile, a #1 with a bullet, type that the Feds enjoy tooting their horns over. It gives them the idea of a powerful, no-one better fuck with us mentality. People buy into that — the wrong head people we know exist.

I appreciate you sight and your blogs. You state it well.

Exactly. Did you see the bit on NPR about how the MV story was covered in the media thousands of times, but the Jena 6 only about 400?

    The media have no shame.

I think Mike Vick definitely deserved to be prosecuted for what he did, he knowingly committed a crime (not that ignorance is an excuse to break the law anyway). I just find the outrage wholly disproportionate. And I find it disturbing that people care so much about dogs, and so little about people.

There were even assholes comparing his dog breeding to Darfur. It’s disgusting. Said same persons probably have little to no outrage about Darfur, that’s why the world is doing little more than nothing to help those people.

Nicely put. The media in this country is all about sensationalism and sadly The Jena story and the rape and torture of a woman just are for some reason not as alarming to many people. Racism is so entrenched in society that people barely blink.

    It’s great to be white

Your credibility is zero after I read this disclaimer on the “whitey” picture.
*Note, the picture of the hunters is being used as a caricature, and is not meant to cast dispersions on the particular people in the photo. All this after saying “It’s open season on Niggers folks”

The boys in Jena assaulted a person. Is taunting the same as assault? No.
Were the charges appropriate for the crime? No. I think the assailants should be charged for lesser crimes, but still charged.

My question to you - are you still a blue gummed, thick lipped, sambo looking, scaring people out of the neighborhood, driving down property values, can’t use the garbage can have to throw it on the ground, can’t pronounce the word “ask” instead saying “axe”, playing your jungle drum radios with the kmart bass package out of your crappy car with the shiny rims at 3 am in the morning when I’m trying to get some sleep to go to my job so that 10% of my income can go to support your lazy ass plus the twelve monkeys that you’ve produced with twelve seperate female gorillas?

“Outrages” charges? Burned at the “steak.” Its funny when foreign folk blog.

“Racism is so entrenched in society that people barely blink.”

True Natalie. People who are not conscious about it, can stair right at racism and not know it’s there.

So Steve, criticizing a typo and a mispelling is all you’ve got. Nothing to say about the content of the post?

It’s great to see you’re so concerned about social justice, and you came hear to raise your voice. We need more condescending Americans like you to make this country a better place.

Melroy, I frankly don’t give a damn what you think.

What is the name of this blog - Black perspective. What is the tag line under it - “Discussing the Diaspora as seen through an internal Black lens”.

You’re not Black, hence not of the Diaspora. So in simple, fuck off; you’re dismissed.

    I’m white.

I think the fact that Michael Vick has federal charges pending and the back-country folk from the torture case do not is a travesty.

I think the Jena 6’s charges are beyond excessive and it definitely shows favoritism in that community. There should have been a greater punishment for the “noose hangers”, and a much lesser punishment (school punishment only? most basic assault charge?) for the Jena 6. There is such a context of anger that was built up in those events to take the fight out of context as it was done in the press was wrong. Between taunting, the other events over the course of the weeks and such — all of that should have been taken into contextual account for bringing lesser (if any) charges.

Maybe its because I’m from the north, not the south…maybe I had great parents…who knows, but I myself don’t care if a person is black, blue, purple or green, people are people and deserve the respect and treatment that deserve and earn.

I happened to stumble across your blog and I am very relieved and encouraged that more Black people like yourself can see what’s going on. Black people had better wake the hell up! I can understand prejudices against Black music and cultural things; hey, that’s people’s preference. But when the HUMANITY of Black people is constantly attacked and denied and is strangely becoming more apparent, there is something malevolent at work. How can the perverse rapes in Florida and West Virginia be somewhat of a concern, yet Vick is vilified for fighting and destroying dogs that ironically are bred for viciousness and are used in fighting?

  14. D. Yobachi Boswell on October 2nd, 2007 2:34 am | link

D, you’re right about the lack of context in the reporting. I’m convinced it’s intentional. Also both Reed Walters and U.S. Attorney Donald Washington’s asserction that the fight had nothing to do with the noose hanging is absurd, disingenious, and fraudulent.

There is clearly a string of incidents and actions that lead up to the fight. These guys, and the media is complicit; want to paint the Jena 6 as Black Savages that attacked a white boy for no reason.

Washington being Black shows that the love of justice is not determined by race.

  15. D. Yobachi Boswell on October 2nd, 2007 2:38 am | link

LetMeTellYa, Blacks had better heed the warnings.

We can’t say that Michael Vick did nothing wrong, or that it isn’t a big deal to torture dogs; they are conscious beings and should not be bread for that purpose in the first place.

But the unbalanced juxtaposition of being outrages over dogs, but not giving a damn about tortured Black women; is disgusting.

  16. Shamontiel L. Vaughn on October 2nd, 2007 4:41 pm | link

I’m a vegetarian and an animal rights activist, so I have zero sympathy for Michael Vick and the dog fighting case. He shouldn’t have done it. He knew it was illegal. He did it anyway. However, I do agree with you that the Jena 6 issue should’ve definitely gotten more attention than it did, not only from grassroots organizations (although I’m impressed at how much success these writers and companies have done to bring up such a stirring issue) but from mainstream media. But what blows my mind is that the Jena 6 case did not get any attention whatsoever even though five young black men fought a white guy. I thought that alone would get the case to the forefront. I guess Fox News and all the rest felt that their argument would be too weak if they tried to blame it on the Jena 6, although we have some hardcore deniers on Associated Content, as you know.

  17. Shamontiel L. Vaughn on October 2nd, 2007 4:42 pm | link

By the way, for those of you who think I said FIVE instead of SIX men fought Justin Barker, I meant it the way I typed it. Purvis just walked over to see what was going on, and was not involved in the fight. Guilt by Blackness is a helluva thing though.

  18. D. Yobachi Boswell on October 2nd, 2007 8:19 pm | link

Shamontiel, the issue is not about Vick, but about the fact that the majority of our fellow Americans are more outraged about dogs than a black woman, or domestic terrorism against black youth.

Anybody who thinks dogs are more important than humans are sick; and this summer we’ve had an abundance more outrage for dogs than for what’s happening to black folks. In other words, we have a very sick society that has poisonous indifference towards people not of the majority race.

When will blacks stop making excuses for themselves and as to why they act the way they do. You cannot go anywhere and they are always acting uncivilized. They account for approximately 13% of the U.S. population and for over 60% of all reported crimes. Whats that tell you. Stop blaming the white man and hold yourselves accountable for your actions. Always looking to get a free ride through society. 13% of population and 60% of reported crimes, every day there is another black athalete being arrested for something. Nuff Said!

  22. Richard Walters on October 26th, 2007 9:49 am | link

Poor people hate rich people! Rich people hate poor people! Middle class people hate rich people and poor people! Black people hate White people! White people hate black people!…because they are not like us!…They are the scum of the earth,.. and we are the salt of the earth!…If they can only become more like us we will be able to tolerate them!
Diversity within an environment of equality would cause a shared assimilation and an add new elements to a joined relationship!
Assimilation on the basis of inequality would cause a sterile relationship where one part of a relationship becomes an extension of the dominant part of the relationship!
It is sterile because nothing is added in the relationship!
