Now Hillary Clinton Is Threatening The Whole Democratic Party

posted in Politics, News & Events, youtube | | | View blog reactions | Print This Post

In an unprecedented move Senator Clinton has already endorsed the other party’s candidate over the leading candidate in her own party. Now she has threatened the Democratic party as a whole to give her what she wants or she will mire the party in a devastating 1968 like credentials fight at the Convention.

Likewise, her rich, self-entitled surrogates today threatened the entire party by sending a letter to Nancy Pelosi saying that if Pelosi doesn’t support Hillary’s position visa via the superdelegates, they will withdraw funding, not just for Pelosi specifically; but for all Democrats running for congress in 2008.

How the hell can the Democratic Leadership just sit on their hands and abide this woman’s tyrannical kamikaze-ing of the party? She tears down the front running candidate, who’s virtually already won, weakening him for the general election; uplifts the other party’s candidate, and threatens to destroy not only the presidential hopes of the Democratic Party, but also threatens to destroy their congressional power.

As I stated in an open letter to the DNC and Chairman Howard Dean that will be public soon, “when are you going to actually LEAD! What are you there for, if you’re just going to stand idly by as your party is ripped apart for a nomination that has already been decide anyway”?

Here’s the story:

In a teaser of a Greta Van Susteren interview on the Fox program “On The Record”, Hillary dares the Democratic Party to not seat the Florida and Michigan delegates (even though Obama and other viable candidates at the time weren’t on the Michigan ballot), or she will force another dehabilitating fight at the convention. With a sly smile on her face she said that she’s going to make sure those delegates are “seated one way or the other”, and dared the party to not seat those two states’ delegates.

Also, in response to House Speaker and 2008 Democratic Nation Chairwoman Nancy Pelosi saying that superdelegates should not over turn the voters; rich Hillaryites sent her a not so veiled threat about withdrawing financial support for Democratic congressional candidates.

Here’s part of it:

“We have been strong supporters of the DCCC. We therefore urge you to clarify your position on super-delegates and relect in your comments a more open boew to the optional independent actions of each of the delegates at the National Convention in August. We appreciate your activities in support of the Democratic Party and your leadership role in the Party and hope you will be responsible to some of your major enthusiastic supporters.” (The New York Observer)

And note the last sentence says that the Democratic Party should give more weight to the few rich people in the party than to everyone else. How so very republican of them.

“I don’t care how, I want it now!”

Samantha Power was right, she is a “monster” who “will do anything to win”.

Hillary is behaving like a rabid dog, along with her surrogates and wealthy supporters. Unable to buy the election in Michigan, by offering to pay $10,000,000 for a fresh primary there, they now threaten to withhold financial contributions from the whole Democratic Congressional effort unless the Party cedes to Hillary’s demands.

Are wealthy people so powerful in the Democratic Party that they can overturn the popular vote and the earned delegate count, by threatening to withhold funds from the Party? If so, then why hold primaries at all? Why not simply hold a convention of Hillary’s wealthy contributors?

So what does that say about the Democratic Leadership that won’t stand up to her and stop this?

This is scary. But this is politics. She must have had a dream about winning and at the end it said, “when at all costs.” I hope she wakes up and embraces reality and understands that what she is doing now will bite her in the ass later.

Actually she’s put herself in no mans land with her scorched earth policy.

She’s burned all the ground behind her and can’t go back now. Either the Clinton’s have to win and hold all the power in their hands, or they will be done, as they have insulted in threated people throughout the party. Either they have to get the presidency and take over the party again, or else there done.

Sending out Carville to call Richardson a Judas was a shot across every superdelegates bow. It was a message to let them know how they will be regarded if they cross the Clinton’s. Also news reports say that they calling up superdelegates and threatening them directly.

At this point, if they don’t win, they’ll get burried when it’s over. So they rather burry the party than just walk away. It’s all or nothing for them. No middle ground.

Why should anyone be surprised by this ? Hillary, her cronies and those in the media feel that this is her nomination by right and entitlement.

We’ve had a Bush or a Clinton in the white house for 28 straight years. They think this is their Kingdom.

A house divided against itself will not stand.

I believe that Abraham Lincoln is attributed that quote about national unity during his term as President of the United States.

He understood enough about the laws of opposites to realize that at some point in time~the friction was going to spark national wildfires of division.

It is the same situation within the DNC. It is obvious that our house is divided. Perhaps it is meant to finally collapse. That would not necessarily be a bad thing. Because in Catch 22~you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

If we are really serious about using our national political muslcles in the DNC, I believe that they are being flexed by the current actions being forwarded.

Of course, if the DNC does not respond in a proper manner~then it is going to be our response that determines what happens for the failure to represent our interest.
