Discussing the Diaspora as seen through an internal Black lens

So Obama picked Biden which was probably the best choice over all. I did a video recording about the pros and cons of various VP candidates about three weeks ago, but the person who owns and recorded the video wouldn’t upload it so I could post it for some reason.
Biden was my original presidential choice, going back a couple-a-three year before anyone announced; all the way up to the “articulate and clean comment”. (will refer back to this) How ironic he gets the vp nod.
So anyway, why Biden’s a good choice:
1. Becaue we needed another lawyer on the Democratic side to go along with Obama, Clinton, and Edwards - no that’s just a joke.
Alright
1. He buttresses Obama on the percieved experience thing
2. He’s considered a foriegn policy expert; which gives him credentials to go after McCain on that issue
3. He’s a good “attack dog” if you will; he can speak up strongly in proffering or defending a position. Remember the “verb, noun, and 911″ comment aobut Rudy Giuliani during the primary debates. There’s another video out there of him talking about how he can eat Giuliani’s lunch, it’s hilarious.
4. He’s from Delaware, right outside of Pennsylvania; and can speak to the “hardworking white American” [read, closest racial bigots] in that part of the country and maybe help to break through with some of them who are capable of voting their self-interest instead of their bigotry.
5. He’s Irish Catholic, and much more of a practitioner than say somebody like Kerry. Again, helps with all those closet bigot “hardworking white American” Irish Catholics in Penn who Obama will need to carry the important swing state.
Negatives:
1. Biden’s been in Washington for ever so doesn’t really fit Obama’s change brand; though Joe is more an independent thinker than a party politic guy.
2. While he gets off some good verbal blast like theGiuliani thing, he also tends to shoot himself in the foot with his mouth (the “clean and articulate comment and I understand he torpedoed his own presidential run a couple of decades ago because of some off the wall he said
