BETTER MEDIA COVERAGE OF OBAMA
Hello!
I just wanted to let you know that we delivered the 200,000+ petitions with
MoveOn.org demanding better media coverage around the elections – in
particular Barak Obama. We had almost 50 people in attendance and we
anticipate continuing to hold FOX accountable for their racist and
culturally insensitive journalism. I’ve included additional material about
our investigative videos illustrating this problematic coverage at FOX.
Folks – particularly Black folks often think that there’s nothing to be done
about FOX they’ll still continue to be ‘racist’ or ‘bigots’ but we believe
that you shouldn’t let them get away with it, call them out on it their
bigotry, and that you CAN fight back by calling them out on their tabloid
coverage. Take care and please feel free to contact me for further

Here’s the Brave New Films Fox Attacks Petition, that I signed yesterday. You’ll want to see their video about the Fox virus that the rest of media is parroting, just like my contention that they parroted Fox on election night 2,000 having called the Florida for Gore and switching only after Fox called it for Bush, and parroted them in the flag waving drumb beat to war in Iraq.
I didn’t see the MoveOn.org petion for this, but here’s another petition regarding Hillary’s threat to the entire Democratic Congressional Caucus.

I am so glad you guys are doing this. It’s despicable the way the media has manufactured this shitstorm over Obama’s pastor. Yesterday, they interrupted Obama’s economic speech to bring “breaking news” about the “discovery” of a controversial article written by Reverend Wright. For crying out loud, Reverend Wright is not running for president!
FYI, I added you to the blogroll I am building on my blog of bloggers who support Obama. If I mischaracterized your blog or you don’t want to be listed just let me know and I will remove you. You’re welcome to post a reciprocal link if you so choose, but no pressure.

Exactly, these people are so stupid. These are the same people who cozy up to Pat Robertson, Jerry Faldwell, and Oral Roberts university. Absolute hypocrites!
As far as adding you to the blog roll: I very much appreciate you adding me, and I understand that many bloggers see crossing adding as blogger etiquette; but I do not like having a blog roll of 50 blogs or whatever, because to me it defeats the purpose.
With so many blogs listed, they all get lost in the deluge. So I keep a trimmed list of about a dozen, so that they actually get attention. I do rotate about 5 or 6 of those positions every so often, so I’ll keep you in mind for rotating in.
It is ridiculous and not only FOX really MSNBC has the most sexist and racist commentators, in their host and Pat Buchanan, that it seems kind of ridiculous they even people to pass judgment on sound bites. Frankly there are those who are never going to understand why Rev Wright has all the reason in the world to say and mean what says, but sadly, because of the media even those who would understand are never going to hear it in context.
I agree about Pat Buchanan, he’s had very racist expressed positions going back to when I first knew of him in the mid 90s, and I was surprised when MSNBC hired him about 5 years ago.
I surprisingly has kept the outter reaches of his isms in check for most of the last few years, but he’s really showing the Pat Buchanan I know.
As to your second point it goest to ideological terrorims that I’ve talked about, Big Brother, blind patriotic worshipping that I’ve talked about.
I need to find my essay on the orgins of patriotism deriving from the futual systems in Europe, where it was created to keep the surfs of different fuedal lords fighting each other, so that they would fight the lords who were oppressing them all. Sound familiar?
