Pregnant Black Woman Tased By Police

December 5th, 2007

I didn’t get to post about this last week when I heard about it from AJ at “Over Analyze It”; but here it is

As AJ said “If he thought the child was in danger, then why not assume custody as asked?”

This is outrages. The police are out of control. This is what I was talking about in my post about Do Police Have A License to kill. It appears they have a license to do whatever they want!

They jump on somebody and put them in painful awkward positions and bend their arms backwards in unnatural position to where your natural reflex is to move to get out that position of pain; and then they beat you worst because you didn’t lie still; and call it resisting arrest when all you’re trying to do is get in a position to relive the pain. We saw this with the Rodney King beating. They say they kept beating him because he wouldn’t keep still; but how can you keep still when someone continues to hit you with a baton?

The cop put her in catch 22 situation where she couldn’t win. He won’t allow her to give up the child, then arrested her for endangering the child.

He created a criminal incident that didn’t exist.

Stories like this always make me want to holler! Although her decision to give up her child may not be popular to many, if she had his best interest or her own safety and her fetus’ best interest at heart, maybe she was doing the right thing. These days abusive people are not just talking, he’s beating her and who knows if he wouldn’t kill her and everybody else in the house. She went for help and they just made the situation 10 times worse. That officer needs to be fired because he had no right to lecture her, he should have done what she asked because there was a reason for it. I guess I need to stop reading blogs today because this is the second story that’s got me all fired up. :(
