Concerned local citizens to draw greater awareness to violence against women in Sudan
Since 2003 the people of Darfur, a western province of Sudan , have been subject to some of the most brutal and dehumanizing acts of violence and genocide. In particular, women have been subject to what is called “policy rape” as a strategic weapon of war.
We call on our local community to help silence this weapons; and help to end physical and sexual violence against women in Darfur .

Thanks for the heads up! Will try to attend.
It’s going to be webcasted where though? Can’t seem to find anything. I’m new to attending web-based events though.
Lorraine, I fixed the “Go here and put in your zip code to find a local even near you” link. Click it and put your zip code in.
