Serena Williams: BlackPerspective.net Beauty of The Month

This is a new series at BlackPerspective.net. Beauty in our country and in world culture is most often measured through the lens of white men; here we’ll take a Black perspective on beauty. Beauty comes in many forms, and we will highlight some various different types of beauties.
I was called “sexist” for last month’s Beauty of the Month posting. Let’s see what they’ll say about our selection this month.
She’s come a long way from the beeded braids wearing young teenage that we first met on the tennis court back in 1995 when she stormed into the sports world with older sister Venus. But soon Serena would grow up, and many a brotha would be awwed by her physical prowess as much as by her powerful game.
The Body
She’s not your annorexic, El magazine, narrow Euro-centric ideal of beaty. No, this young lady’s got a full body, one those of us from the melanin end of the people spectrum tend to enjoy. Impressive sculpt.
The Booty
In the majority community they decry their woman’s ass being to big. In Brothaman Land; big is just what the doctor ordered. This is literally beautiful to me. [Nice back muscular too.]
Serena is currently the No. 3 female tennis player in the world. She has won 18 Grand Slam in singles and doubles combined, and is a 2 time olympic gold medalist.
The Smile
With or without make up this natural beauty has a glowing smile that shines.
The CatSuit
Serena will always be a legend in the hearts of men for a unique tennis outfit that we shall not soon forget.
Serena and Venus both took criticism for going to fashion school while on the tennis tour instead of only focusing on sports full time. How dare those jigaboo get educated and care about something besides sports; and want to be well rounded. Don’t you know Black people are only good for running and jumping?
Anyway, she has her own clothing line Aneres. Which leads us to:
The Fashionista
On the fashionista note, Serena and Venus took to the courts in expensive gowns and high heels for the November edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
