Discussing the Diaspora as seen through an internal Black lens

After last week’s SNL Obama opening; I took issue with the factually devoid, poor political hatchet job, disguised as satire.
Yet, in contradiction to what those who tried to argue with me by arguing against things that weren’t even my issue, I have no problem with this past weekends piece on Obama, as there were no lied about policy issues.
He apparently did win the prize simply for not being George Bush, as he’s not accumulated a resume on fighting for peace that would match up to most Nobel prize winners, or any that I can think of.

This reward was as premature as giving an athlete the MVP award half way through his rookie season. While said player may have a promising future, and later be deserving of such; it’s jumping the gun to say the least; especially since MVP awards aren’t given out until the end of a season.
Again despite the protest in my response to SNL’s previous bit on Obama that I’m “sensitive” about Obama being criticize; which is ridiculous, being that I’ve criticized Obama on this blog numerous times, I enjoyed this piece in as much as it was humoristic.
Whether or not some folks can understand the issue of dishonest political hatchery being unacceptable, even when disguised as ‘comedy’; doesn’t much matter, so long as I got the factual rebuttal out there for the record. Correcting the facts, and not allowing the political agenda behind such grand distortions from taking hold was the ultimate point.
