Sober Analysis of What Makes Hillary Clinton’s Assassination Reference So Terrible

May 25th, 2008

And a good alternative to the shrillness of Keith Olbermann as Prometheus pointed out.

I didn’t even realize that Bobby Kennedy had only been campaigning for 4 weeks. The modern campaign schedule and run of the election are totally different. She had no point in what she said on any basis.

Shakespear said, a rose by any other name is still a rose. And an individual who says and does anything at the expense of others is still an a$$hole even when their initials are HRC. I could come up with a few other choice descriptions, but got too much respect for your blog.

On another note, let us never forget the brave men and women who paid the ultimate price for the freedom we enjoy today!

I certainly can appreciate this more so than, as you called it Olberman’s shrill accounting. I am with the man in the glasses who says he feels it was certainly not a call for assassination thorough I’m with everyone else on that fact it was a a reckless statement considering the the history coming with Obama, and the statement itself - even without intent - disqualifies her from having what it takes to be President of the United States. I feel assessments such as this do better overall in the long run than shrill melodrama of Olberman, who I actually adore, but frankly the high drama does nothing for me any longer.

LOL SjP, I’m sure I’ve said worst of Mrs. HRC.

    I’ll check out that post.

Cooper, Shields and Brooks are the two commentators, I forget which is which; but they’ve had regular nightly segments on PBS’ News Hour for some years now. The guy giving the analysis is the democrat the other a Republican; but he’s a descent republican who gives respectable analysis.

And Olbermann, while I again, appreciate that he provides some critique of government and provides facts that other media neglect; his style, self-importance, and melodramatics have lost me. I could barely stand to listen to his “special comment” on this though we’re in 90% agreement on it.

    Yobachi,

I remember each assassination that has happened on American soil. They all were terrible experiences for the society of that time.

She claims that she was citing Democratic Party History. Yeah right. That was refuted early on after her statement was aired to the public. Bubba was already the nominee before the stump reached CA.

I believe that she has been harboring this as a personal fantasy. Especially since she has raised this same type of statement prior to the Sioux Falls interview.

This only confirms my feelings about her. She is a desperate white woman who lacks any real type of scruples.

What she doesn’t seem to want to accept is the fact that she upset the population at large with that statement.
