Somebody Tell Hillary Clinton, There’s No Crying In Politics

First of all Hil, you shouldn’t have rolled over like a spineless coward, concerned only for your own ambition and voted for the patriot act and the fabricated Iraq war.
I know you knew those things were crap before you voted for them, but you didn’t want to be called unpatriotic and risk your chances of becoming president — it’s all about your ambition. Don’t whine now.

Fading in polls, Clinton vows to fight on

PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire (Reuters) - A teary-eyed Hillary Clinton pushed for support on Monday as polls showed her poised for a huge New Hampshire loss to Democratic rival Barack Obama, but the former front-runner vowed to carry on with her presidential quest even if she loses.
Obama warned supporters against overconfidence as a flood of new polls gave him a double-digit lead over Clinton one day before the state casts the next votes in the race for the White House.

And I’m sorry, crying is not the best way to show your strong and presidential. There’s no cying in politics just like there’s no crying in baseball.
Ahhh, I wrote you off after you pledged to repeat Rwanda in Darfur anyway.

On the Today show Mrs. Clinton says that Barack hasn’t done the necessary spadework to be president. Not a coincidence.
She’s grasping at straws…looking desperate…acting frustrated…losing…shall I go on?
What is “spadework”? What does that mean. That’s the second time I’ve heard that in this campaign.
Marvalus, she’s coming undone; she can’t handle it.
She’s going to be in the psyche ward with Britnay in a minute; especially if she loses NH as bad as they say she will - lol
If she were male getting a little choked up would be just fine in politics, it would show heart and compassion. For a woman to cry it shows her to be ruled by emotions and not particularly stable.
I’ve never seen a man cry on the campaign trail before because he was losing Natalie (or for any other reason that I can think of), and that’s the issue. A lot of people have had heart breaking campaing losses, and none of them have ever publicly cried before.
If she was crying talking about her dead farther or something like that, that would have been fine; but you’re breaking down cause you’re going through a rough time in politics?
I got news for her, being president has a lot of rough times. What, is she just going to wilt and cry when Kim Jung Ill or Ahmadinejad don’t give her, her way?
Plus to me it felt like she was trying to pull a “poor little damsel in distress” role.
First women don’t want there gender to come in to play when considering them, then at times like these some of them want to play on gender role sentiments to get what they want. Can’t have it both ways.
i think crying is typically considered female behavior. in this sense, crying is received negatively regardless of gender. personally, i would prefer a leader who cares deeply enough to cry over the atrocities that have and are currently taking place around the world. it shows character. emotion does not equate weakness. it didn’t seem like clinton was crying in the clip to me. i do believe she cares to some degree however i whole heartedly support obama over clinton. obama appears to genuinely care for and respect all people which is more than i can say for myself or most of the people i encounter.
Well, her eyes were glossed over with with water. You can distinguish that the tears didn’t roll down her face, but she certainly got teary eyed.
Some people tried to claim it was sexism that she got negative press for this; but infact if anything its sexist that she won New Hampshire and stayed in the campaign after this. Instead, she not only got a pass from the voters, she was rewarded for it with a last minute come from behind win.
I think she only cares about herself, and was crying because she saw her life long dream slippig away from her, when just a few weeks earlier it seemed she was a sure in for the nomination. I think the same of Bill too, so this is not me being hard on her for being female.
If she’d cry over the people of Darfur, I’d welcome that (assuming I thought it was sincere) but she has no tears for them; instead, she’s content to let them be slaughterd: www.blackperspective.net/index.php/repeating-rwanda-hillary-clinton-on-darfur/
