Discussing the Diaspora as seen through an internal Black lens
March 24th, 2008
As politico.com finally says what most mainstream media will not come right out and say, and reports on the “myth” that Senator Clinton is still in the race; it’s time to end this charade, and move forward in unity to defeat Senator McCain.
Tomorrow is the Day of Blogging for Voter Justice, where dozens of bloggers will raise their collective voice in unison so that the DNC, superdelegates, and Hillary Clinton hear the voice of the people.
Please Sign the Petition if you agree the divisiveness should end, and we need to start working to stop four more years of Bush/Cheney as embodied in the campaign of John McCain.

If you’re a blogger, also:
1. Sign up for the Day of Blogging For Voter Justice by commenting to this post with your name (whether real or internet handle) and the actual FULL url of your blog [example: www.blackperspective.net/], so that we can have a hyperlink list to direct the media to
2. Prepare and put forth a post on the Day of Blogging For Voter Justice, so that we can all be heard as one strong voice: Tuesday March 25th,
3. Make contact with the DNC, and even Hillary Clinton’s office to let them know your stance. Get Clinton and DNC contact info at the bottom of this post.
One big fact has largely been lost in the recent coverage of the Democratic presidential race: Hillary Rodham Clinton has virtually no chance of winning.
Her own campaign acknowledges there is no way that she will finish ahead in pledged delegates. That means the only way she wins is if Democratic superdelegates are ready to risk a backlash of historic proportions from the party’s most reliable constituency.
Unless Clinton is able to at least win the primary popular vote — which also would take nothing less than an electoral miracle — and use that achievement to pressure superdelegates, she has only one scenario for victory. An African-American opponent and his backers would be told that, even though he won the contest with voters, the prize is going to someone else.
People who think that scenario is even remotely likely are living on another planet.
