   Yobachi I am shocked at your heading for this!!!

   This has nothing to do with race unless illegal is now a race. It is a fact that over 65% of the folks illegally in this Country are Latino yes but that is the only connection to a race.
   The fact is our jobs have been given away a big one is construction where I’m from to illegals, where they are paid under the table the employer not paying taxes nor the illegal worker paying taxes. The illegal worker gets $10.00 an hr instead of $17.00 an hr (a legal worker would get) but does not get taxes taken out so he keeps all of the $10 plus since he does not make any money on the books (it’s all under the table) any children he has (2006 68% of babies born in LA County were to illegal mothers)the family qualifies for food stamps, welfare, medi-cal for the kids the adults go to the ER for free care, they get housing, free breakfast and lunch at school for the kids and low cost subsities for phone, electric, gas plus so much more all tax payer money. They as a family bring in more money than a two parent family who both work because we have to pay taxes and pay for our own medical etc.. we could not get away with this because we are citizens and can be tracked by SS numbers and photo ID’s.
   This set up to benifit those here illegally is why they are able to send so much money home and buy houses in their own Country. I hear the argument that they are paying into Social Security when they will never get to use it. This is not really true Illegals use more tax money than they could ever put in from crime over 60% of those in prison in California for felonies are illegals, most do not register their cars so they don’t pay for roads or state parks, they don’t have car insurance so we pay higher rates to compensate for uninsured drivers. I could go on and on but let’s get back to the Social Security they say they are paying but won’t ever get, if they are here working on a visa have a child while here making the child a U.S. citizen then when that child is 18 that child can get their parents citizenship thus allowing them to collect that Social Security, also if that parent was here illegally working under the table all those years and then gets citizenship thru their U.S. born child all they have to do is work a few years as a Now Citizen and they will get Social Security.
   What does this mean for the Americans born or who came here the legal way it is a slap in the face as the working poor can no longer go to the free clinics for healthcare because they are out of money from over use from people who should not even be here, low cost housing list a mile long from people who should not be here, neighboorhoods we have worked hard to clean up and or keep clean now gang infested from people who should not be here, schools over crowded by children brought here illegally. This is just the tip of the iceburg of this huge problem. I wish we could accomidate everyone who would like to come to the U.S. but we have rules for a reason and because it has been unchecked for so long we are suffering the poor and working class Americans are taking the brunt of it.

   Kim, stop trying to defend blantant racism.

   “Filthy Mexicans” is not about illegal immigration; but race.

   Calling to bring back voting literacy test used to keep Black AMERCIANS, not illegal Alleins from voting, is racist.

   Comparing Obama to a Kenyan animal, is racist.

   And those are the are just the examples I remember off the top of my head without looking at the videos again.

   Just quit!

   Yobachi,

   I cringe when I seen those signs, BUT I always take them with a grain of salt as either dumb ass jerk offs or as happens in all large groups people put there for photo and asses allowed to speak. The majority of people at these rallies are not there because of race. They are there because of real issues.
   Like when the Rev. Wright video’s came out and folks stating that Pres. Obama was a racist was wrong, because it was bull.

   This goes both ways and my point was that a few bad eggs does not make all of their concerns wrong, I don’t agree with but %50 of what they are out there for but to call the whole movement racist is wrong and selective at best I mean out of hundreds of signs and speakers yes you will have your nuts.
   I am able to see for myself when I watch the news, read the paper, watch people protest, what is valid and what is bull and in these video’s I see race baiting on the sign holders part and the part of those who made the video knowing full well that those signs and the speaker was one out of hundreds.
   I just will no longer be baited by anyone either side.
   sorry if this pisses people off but this is not about sides it’s about what I feel is right and true.

   It’s not a few. This is typical fare amongst the group. These types of things are routinely shouted from the podium and the whole crowd cheers.

   If this wasn’t the character of the group, the “jerk offs” wouldn’t feel so comfortable being so out and open with it. They’re not confronted by other Tea Patiers at these rallies. Where are the tea partiers denouncing the continous blantant racism? They’re nowhere.

   Trying to cloack racism in legitimate concerns doesn’t make the racist nature go away, or make others blind to it.

   Those who have non-racist concerns should stop standing shoulder to shoulder with blantant racist if they want someone to respect their position; because otherwise we can’t tell them apart. And it’s really not our job to try, they ought to seperate themselves from it.

   LOL S.Justice talk about two faced! What (I) wrote is helping you understand the souls of white folks?? Your full of judgement just assuming I’m white.
   I just think to say a whole group of people is racist because of a few sign holders is bull and as to why someone didn’t tell them to take it down who knows if they weren’t asked maybe that one rally WAS full of racist who knows.
   These rallies are for all parties, all opinions, free speech.I mean really talk about closed minded to group all of these folks as racist(so now every Catholic is a baby raper or thinks it’s okay because they still belong to and go to church) Does it suck to see people like that yes.
   But to make it out as if this is the norm at these rallies is so off and the makers of this video know this and have their own agenda to race bait as the quest for Amnesty gets closer because these people at these rallies are the biggest threat to it.
   Don’t be a hater to me because I wont jump on the bandwagon on this, I have my own opinion on what I see this as. After all this is still America where we are free to find what feel is true to us.

   Respectfuly to your own road to what is truth.

   Keep trying to rationalize your support of these racist crusaders. Keep trying. Either you are a patronizing white or a self hating person of color. ( Clarence Thomas etc.) You can judge it by the posts you have put up. I don’t care what you are but you clearly are caught up in supporting institutional racism. It’s amazing to read your posts and the posts of these right wingers on a black blogger site trying to excuse the inexcusable. No wonder in our society groups like the Tea Baggers are considered ” mainstream” and the Klan is not considered a ” terrorist” group. Keep trying though. This is a diverse country and you aren’t going to change that with your rants.

   Okay this is the last post (feel free to jump up and down) I never ever said I suport “these racist crusaders” I just pointed out that by taking a few nuts and making a video about it does not make all these folks racist nor does that fact that they didn’t jump on the racist back and kick their ass. Every protest has the wackey nuts look on youtube under any issue there is always someone shouting or holding a messed up sign that has nothing nor is a thought shared by the rest. That’s it thats my point that and I agree with the fact that we have an unchecked immigration problem and I see this video as bait.
   By the way the Klan is on a “terrorist watch list”
   You can put me down and say I don’t love my or am not comfortable in my skin. I do love my countries diversity duh. I have not attacked anyone as you have me, I just stated my opinion. You say I’m a racist white or self hating person of “color” whatever. I just have a diffrent opinion so am called racist or racist lover. I for one have had enough of using a crutch for a stubbed toe throw that crutch away and it will set you free!

   I almost respected what you said until the last quote about the toe. And you left out Republican Candidate Tom Tancredo’s hate speech at the Tea Bag convention I noticed.It’s more than just the crowd but also the leadership of the tea baggers. You just happen to turn an ignorant blind eye to that.
   You stole that toe quote from an episode of Kung Fu with David Carradine years ago. Not only is your argument pathetic as you justify these unAmerican racist “patriots” but you are stealing lines from an obscure t.v. show. What next, a quote from the Love Boat to discuss healthcare ?

   By the way, how are you going to get rich white people and corporations to stop hiring these illegals ? In their homes and factories and fields . Doesn’t it upset the competitive free market ? Just curious.
