Washington March For Justice
November 16th, 2007
They’re marching for justice this morning in Washington, focusing on the Justice Department and it’s dereliction of duty in opposing race based crimes.
I thought I’d be able to watch it live on my computer from work; but no luck as C-Span is neglecting to cover this major event in their own backyard. Silly me, they covered the Million Man March live a dozen years ago, and replayed it all the next day. I thought surely they’d be covering this.

You can listen to coverage on the Tom Joyner morning show on location. That’s if he ever gets back to covering it and off of his salacious radio soap opera.
There’s supposed to be some counter protest by some Black folk that I’m not even going to go into at this point because it’s not worthy of the attention; attempting to undercut a valid cause just to exercise some personal beef with ol Al. Everybody’s got a beef with Al, stand in line. Today’s not the day.
The national Media coverage is, of course, completely pedestrian.

The only online msmbc coverage is under racism but is the interview Sharton did with Tucker Carlson a couple of days ago.
Have watched the news today just got in from a meeting but will see if I can catch anything later. My local news will cover it because it is the DC feed but not sure about the cable.
