Yo - Bum Rush the Show: Protester Interrupts McCain Convention Speech

Just minutes into his speech, a protester in side the hall interrupted McCain by screaming, waving a sign, then one ripping off her jacket to show a pink top with more messages on it once the sign was pulled away from them.

According to the AP:

“One male protester and two female protesters were removed from the hall by security officers. The male demonstrator had a sign that read “You can’t win an occupation” on one side, and “McCain votes against vets” on the other side.”

Reportedly they were from CodePink, a female based anti-war group.

McCain tonight said that he “couldn’t wait to introduce” Sarah Palin “to Washington”. Great! Maybe then she can start to at least get a smidge of national experience. When are you going to start her on-the-job training for national security and national affairs? Actually, when is Joe Lieberman going to finish yours?

Tonight McCain also just said, “my friends, if you find fault with our country make it a better one”. Well that’s what community organizing is all about; and his henchmen Giuliani and Palin just spent most of last night denigrating such noble work.
